LANCASTER – A man convicted of child molestation in 1994 was found guilty Friday of sexually abusing an Antelope Valley girl for nearly seven years, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Jurors deliberated for two hours before finding 52-year-old José de Jesús Santana Aguilar guilty of four counts of sodomy by use of force; three counts of committing a lewd act on a child; two counts each of continuous sexual abuse and forcible oral copulation of a victim over the age of 14; and one count of sexual penetration by a foreign object of a victim over the age of 14, according to Deputy District Attorney Jonathan Hatami.

Before his trial began, Aguilar pleaded no contest to five counts of failing to update his sex offender registration annually and admitted that he was convicted in 1994 for committing a lewd act on a child, Hatami stated.

In the latest case, Aguilar sexually abused a 12-year-old Littlerock girl in 2007, and the abuse continued until the victim was 18.

The crimes occurred mostly in Littlerock, Palmdale and Lake Los Angeles, according to the prosecutor.

Aguilar is facing more than 132 years to life in state prison. Sentencing is scheduled for March 13 at the Antelope Valley courthouse.

If it was my daughter and I found out I’m not sure he would have made to jail in good health if at all.

ATTN LIZ: It doesn’t matter what she said or did. Children cannot consent legally in the US, and for good reason. Kids are not fully cooked, really until the age of 23 or 24. The law states it is not about the child, it is about the ADULT. He knew better. I don’t care if she propositioned him daily. AGAIN, HE IS THE ADULT, HE KNEW BETTER. IT IS ILLEGAL, PERIOD….POINT….BLANK.

Anyone who defends this piece of scum is no better and deserves the same fate. Just read a great artical that sex offenders have the best chance of being killed in the prison system in good old Cali. I hope he gets his as well as all you defenders.

So she knew what right from wrong to say she thought it was father love! So [removed] off! You ain’t no one to judge!

I actually do know whats going on, this system is so corrupted that everyone believe what the media says! Plus anyone would do whatever it takes just to get citizenship! Hes not fully guilty but shes no better than him. So YES she asked for it. Any ways shouldnt her mother but behind bars as well. Knowing he was a sex offender , she would let her sleep in between them.

LIZZY….. may I ask what do yo think a 14 year old should know? I believe your brainwashed and absolutely out of your mind. No matter what her mother is or was… I do not know. My biggest question is why did this convicted sex offender get out of jail, and why did it take 5 missed reports or appointments…. This is absolute ridiculousness of the people who are supposed to monitor these offenders. Is it lack of funding? Not enough Parole officers? If so then utilize money put some more workers in that parole division. Obviously there is an issue there. Lizzy…. you obviously need help because you don’t believe sex crimes occur. They do and my concern is do you have children? Maybe you yourself is a predator and your protecting this looser. I think Lizzy you should be evaluated. Your post is absolutely spoken out of pure ignorance. Evidence does not lie…. Prayers for the victims. I am glad they were able to get their case heard and the jerk is convicted. Don’t let the guy out of jail again. Hello legal system. If it cost too much then make his funeral before he gets out to rape and molest again. Please!!!! Simple solutions are causing major society problems. Monitor these guys. Chip them whatever it takes!!!!! Just stop letting these predators out. I bet if a judges daughter got raped he would never have been released. Judges jury…. connect these predators with what if it was your daughter. Throw him in the oven!!!!

How much time did this guy serve for the first offense? Sex offenders wonder why we want residential restrictions? The time served behind bars is only part of the story of accountability for their crimes. The other part is public sentiment. There is this strong complaint from sex offenders and their supporters that residential restrictions are unjust, unfair and punitive in nature. However, residential restrictions and registration are not about the sex offenders. It’s about the survivors’ rights and a community’s HUMAN RIGHTS. You see, once you breach public trust of this magnitude, it is lost forever. There will always be a percentage of chance that a sex offender will reoffend and the reality is most of us would prefer that our judges, law makers, ect. not gamble with our lives. We need tougher, longer prison sentences for sex offenders. We need residential restrictions. We need to maintain our current sex offender registration and reject a tiering system which would drop off “low risk” sex offenders from reporting.
