PSD administrator charged with dog fighting, animal cruelty, child abuse

PALMDALE – An assistant superintendent at the Palmdale School District pleaded not guilty Tuesday to more than two dozen charges, including dog fighting, animal cruelty and child abuse, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Pauline Ruth Winbush, 52, and her boyfriend Kevin Ray Williams, 50, face four felony counts of dog fighting, 17 felony counts of cruelty to an animal and one felony count of child abuse, according to Deputy District Attorney Lyle Riggs.

The criminal complaint also includes seven Los Angeles County code violations, including unsanitary conditions and failing to license and vaccinate the dogs.

According to the prosecutor, animal control officers discovered a horse belonging to the couple roaming the streets on Oct. 29. Numerous additional animals were discovered when authorities searched the couple’s Antelope Acres home the following month.

Among the animals were dogs that were allegedly kept inside crates filled with feces, and urine stored inside the house where the couple and a minor lived, the prosecutor added.

A total of 19 pit bulls were recovered from the home and had to be euthanized, Riggs said, and some of the dogs showed signs of being used for dog fighting.

Winbush and Williams were arrested around 3 p.m. Monday, LASD inmate records show.

Palmdale School District responds

In a statement issued Tuesday, Palmdale Superintendent Raul Maldonado responded to questions about the status of Winbush’s employment with the Palmdale School District. Winbush, who once served as Interim Superintendent of Schools, is currently employed as the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources at Palmdale School District.

“We are deeply troubled by the November 26, 2014 raid on Ms. Winbush’s home by local law enforcement officials and her subsequent arrest and arraignment,” Maldonado said in the statement. “The District placed Ms. Winbush on paid administrative leave on December 1, 2014, the first business day after November 26, and commenced its own investigation of her conduct and the circumstances giving rise to the actions of local law enforcement officials. That investigation is ongoing.”

The statement continues: “We are closely monitoring the criminal proceedings against Ms. Winbush. Although such proceedings are public, the District’s investigation and actions involve a personnel matter, and we are therefore precluded from any further comment at this time.”

Winbush faces 13 years

After pleading not guilty to all charges Tuesday, Winbush was ordered to return to court Jan. 12 for a preliminary hearing. At the conclusion of that hearing, a judge will decide if there is enough evidence against Winbush for the case to go to trial. Her bail was set at $250,000. The prosecutor is recommending $440,000 bail for Williams, who was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon.

If convicted of all charges, Winbush and Williams face a possible maximum sentence of 13 years in state prison.

The case remains under investigation by the County of Los Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

UPDATED 1/28/15: On Jan. 12, the preliminary hearing for Winbush and Williams was postponed until Jan. 28. The hearing started Wednesday, Jan. 28, with the judge hearing testimony from three witnesses. The hearing was not completed that afternoon and was continued until Thursday. We will continue to follow this story.

  1. The entire district is disgusting. A friend of mine taught there for years, was assaulted by students and the district covered it up. Bet you never even knew about that. The sad part of it is that she loved and respected students/families. The PSD is corrupt and negligent! Hope this lady gets what she deserves. Karma!

    “Sergeant Rachel Montez of the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control said she accompanied a team of officers serving a search warrant Nov. 26 at the couple’s residence in the 7000 block of West Avenue A-14.”

    ” Montez said she responded to the couple’s residence about five years ago, and there were at least 30 pit bulls on the property at that time. She said she suspected dog fighting activity, but at the time, the department didn’t have the resources to investigate. She said she advised Williams of her suspicions.”

    WHY did it take FIVE years for the DACC to take any action on these scumbags?

    This means, that there have been a lot more dogs/animals subjected to the abuse, neglect, suffering, and horrors of dog fighting!!

    I also have to wonder about their motivations? Obviously, it wasn’t about any home improvements! So, which drug habit has this been financing, for them?

Send it on to those racist people so they can learn dog fighting is something all races and ethnicities are involved in and the illegal operation is thriving. Noone promoted the dogs as pets and they were rarely kept in family homes before when dog fighting was legal. Now they pay celebs millions to promote the breed as it keeps the illegal untaxed international criminals free to engage in their sadistic enterprises and they can hide in sea of overbred and family owned pitbulls.

Well maybe in some parts of the AV a certain city controls who gets hired and who doesn’t. But outside of that inbred enclave the rest of the state operates differently. Inbreeding is not good.

    • The city doesn’t hire them. PSD is with the county dept. of education ( sans caps on purpose) and do their own hiring.

      What is interesting is this is the third super hired and leaves under suspicious circumstances. That office needs to at least have the hiring standards set better … seriously.

  10. There have to be other people out there, that are connected with these people. That knew what was going on at their property, and decided to turn a blind eye. When someone doesn’t speak up, they are allowing neglect/abuse to continue! Abuse of animals carries over to abuse of humans. Someone that has the propensity to neglect/abuse animals, has the propensity to neglect/abuse people. We better start paying more attention when it comes to our children and our community of people of all ages.

        • Hey RG, you are correct and it falls under the RICO ACT. FBI office is located on Lowtree Rd. or Dr. past the (not sure of the correct name) online University.

          With everything that is going on in the US and abroad, they may or may not get involved, unless there is a clear cut evidence that they used online, mail or Airlines to move the dogs around.

          I hope they get them on all charges, they (PSheriffsD) appear to have been investigating them for months…. Can we say they made extra sure to sign, seal and deliver the appropriate charges to the DA’s office?!?

          To those reading this, I can only hope that most will realize crime really doesn’t pay and KARMA always wins. Trump that!

    Dr. Edmond Watts, DVM, appeared before the board to request an Order of Compliance. Dr. Watts’ license was revoked and total civil penalties in the amount of $5,000.00 were assessed per a Default Order effective December 28, 1998. After verification of payment of civil penalties, Dr. Thompson made a motion, seconded by Dr. Welch, that the Order of Compliance be issued. The motion carried.
    Dr. Watts also submitted a licensure application requesting the reinstatement of his veterinary license. Upon review and deliberation, a motion was made and seconded, to conditionally reinstate the license with restrictions: probation for five years; submit letter from employer annually regarding job performance; appear before board annually; obtain forty hours continuing education per year in addition to required hours during probationary period; must be employed by a licensed veterinarian during probationary period. The motion carried.
    Petition for Stay of Order
    Bonnie Cady, Unlicensed
    Ms. Brandi Bozarth, Assistant General Counsel, presented a Petition for Stay of Order received from Ms. Bonnie Cady. Ms. Cady was not present but was represented by her attorney, Mr. Frank Scanlon. Ms. Cady was found guilty of unlicensed practice and assessed civil penalties and costs of the proceedings at the December 9, 2004 board meeting. The board was informed that an appeal had been filed in Chancery Court and a Petition for a Declaratory Order was scheduled to be heard at the August 24-25, 2005 board meeting. The state did not oppose the stay of the order. Dr. Edmonds made a motion, seconded by Dr. Thompson, to grant the stay. The motion carried.

    • Who is Eddie Watts, DVM?????

      The ALJ found that during 1997, Respondent “filled over 124 controlled substance prescriptions written by Edmond Watts,” a veterinarian who had allowed both his DEA registration and state veterinary license to expire without renewing them, ALJ at 17 (citing Tr. 37-38, 41-42), and was therefore without authority to prescribe controlled substances. According to the credited testimony of a DEA supervisory diversion investigator, a pharmacist is required to periodically check with the appropriate state licensing authority to ensure that a practitioner holds a current license. Id. (citing Tr. 61).

      Normally, veterinarians purchase the controlled substances they dispense directly from wholesale distributors and dispense the drugs directly to the owner of the animal. Tr. 88. Indeed, under DEA regulations, “[a] prescription may not be issued in order for an individual practitioner to obtain controlled substances for supplying the individual practitioner for the purpose of general dispensing to patients.” 21 CFR 1306.04(b).

      Watts wrote the prescriptions, which were for drugs containing hydrocodone, in the names of fictitious patients,\17\ Tr. 40, and had his brother present them to Respondent for filling. Id. at 62-63. Moreover, Watts’ brother was presenting the prescriptions “almost every day [or] every other day.” Id. at 62. The drugs were then personally used by Veterinarian Watts. Id. at 40. Eventually, Watts was convicted of a controlled-substances related felony. Id. at 42.

      \17\ Watts also wrote prescriptions “in the name of his sister- in-law.” Tr. 41. Watt’s sister-in-law “was interviewed and indicated [that] she never received that medication.” Id.

      With respect to the prescriptions issued by Watts, Respondent put on the testimony of Mr. Richards, a private investigator it had retained. Mr. Richards testified that Watts told him that he had “deceived” Street, and “didn’t tell him [Street]” about his licensure status. May 24, 2005 Tr. at 14. There is, however, no evidence that Mr. Street had asked Watts whether he had a valid DEA registration and state license prior to the incident in summer of 1997 when state investigators showed up at Respondent and inquired about Watts’ prescriptions. Id.

      Moreover, Mr. Richards testified that “all of the prescriptions that Dr. Watts wrote that Jeff filled for any kind of pain drugs contained acetaminophen. And that would alert a pharmacist to the fact that it was probably for an animal, because acetaminophen is toxic to certain animals.” Id. at 16. Contrary to Mr. Richard’s testimony, the fact that “acetaminophen is toxic to certain animals” points to the exact opposite conclusion–that the drugs were not being prescribed to treat animals for a “legitimate medical purpose” and that Watts was not acting in the “usual course of his professional practice.” 21 CFR 1306.04(a).

As per usual for Antelope Valley residents, it is easier to jump on the hate wagon than to use your brains (oops…that’s right,…you don’t have any) and look at the case with intelligence. As with all animal cruelty cases, the DA is trying to make a name for himself regardless of the facts. The only thing this guy cares about is looking good for his political career!     Don’t be so quick to judge someone based on a news story headline. I’ve worked in animal rescue for over 30 years, and been a vet for 27, and I’ve never seen a big dog in a crate that DIDN’T get filled with urine and feces after the caretakers had been away all day at the OTHER job.
    Most of the cases are rescues which are well-intentioned, overwhelmed, and understaffed. Probably over a third of all rescued pitbulls in or near LA “shown signs of dog fighting.” Doesn’t mean the RESCUER did it.
    As for the child abuse charge, if a minor (17 yrs, 11 mo) was on living on the property, the charge follows, regardless of involvement or exposure.
    The story has ALLEGATIONS of a prosecutor. WAIT FOR THE FACTS to come out before YOU hang someone. Rebuilding a wrongly ruined life is difficult. They may have been busting their ass to care for these animals, NOT fighting or abusing them.
    If it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, it may be a goose described by someone who doesn’t know what the hell he’s looking at or talking about.

    I bet this lady also asked, nay BEGGED for help with her position and all of you sanctimonious hypocrites just said crap like, “how much are you going to pay me” or “I don’t have the time” or “I don’t have the gas to get there”. Those of you who say you don’t have the time, well you certainly have time to sit on your lazy asses spouting hate toward this woman, don’t you!?

    • @Chanel & Eddie DVM if you honestly believe these two idiots were rescuing pits you should probably stop eating the mushrooms. AVPress & AVTimes have both reported that the LA Country Animal Care and Control officers were first on the scene, and called the LA Sheriff Dept. to report what was found. 1st red flag would be a legitimate rescue would be licensed with the county….not! Why would well cared for healthy rescued dogs be euthanized? Treadmills used to train fighting dogs? No porn, just dog fighting magazines! It is her house and she may not have been a participant in this horribe act of cruelty, but she knew damn well what was going on under her roof and should be held accountable…unless she was eating those mushrooms?!?

        Any ‘Real DVM’ will tell you that this is the most important thing to have as a Animal Rescue, why?!? One rabid animal can easily get other animals sick!

        From my experience with LASD AKA PSD N LSD, they are really reasonable when it comes to minor offenses, so for this case to be in the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office this is really bad.

        Most if not all real ‘Animal Rescues’ have a 501(c)(3) distinction, which these two don’t seem to have! This in of itself, points to something very wrong…. Stop being sheepple and think as in ‘use your brain’.

        Do I see two guilty parties, yes I do. Has any law’s been broken?!? Heck yeah!!! Do I want this woman in my child’s school as an Assistant Superintendent?!?, HECK NO!

        If this is how she treats animals, how will she treat my child or me for that matter?!? Think people, for the love of whatever you believe in! Trust me it’s not that difficult.

        I think all those that work with or near children need a full background check aka FBI or just stay away from anyone under 18 years old! See how simple that was?!?

        • They ARE required to have a full background check. Background checks only show what they’ve been convicted of, not what they do at home.

          • Think before you type—Unfortunately background checks are fraught with problems. School background checks are very slow to respond, and often are lost or just not checked. All you have to do is read the horror stories of teachers allowed to teach, that have slipped through the background checks.

          • Exactly…Gallizzi is a prize example, rumors of DUI’s while he sat at the throne, and still took a HUGE buyout which was board approved. I’m sure KARMA will catch up with his sweet a@@ someday while he lives & plays in “Sin City”!             Some states require all potentiall Cadets to go through a very thorough background check after they pass all written and hot seat exams.

            For instance, seasoned investigators will knock on neighbors doors to ask about the cadet and his or her behavior in public. Followed by all those you used as a reference to get the job, as well as all past employers and co-workers.

            Trust me, this works really well……if used correctly without any nepotism. Is it worth it, as a parent, yes it is.

            Perhaps an Investigator needs to check into ‘Think before you type’, you seem to be on the wrong side of this issue!, is this you Pauline?!? Then Shame on you!!!

            Pauline’s defense to all of this will be that ‘she was afraid of her BF”, due to ‘an abused womans syndrome’! Just like restraining oders that get abused, food for thought?!?

            This law was put in place by ‘real abused’ survivors and now that law will be misused by people such as Pauline. Therefore, she will put all the blame on her BF.

          • Background checks are done before hiring. How about doing them every time the employee gets promoted. Someone who started out with a clean check, can do all kinds of stuff after they get hired. If their Union screams “harrassment”, let it go to panel and fire them.

            4. They only allow 3 minutes per person to speak…how about 5 minutes instead?!? This is a solution!!

            5. Do a through background check on everyone in the admin office every new school year. why….read the story!

            6. I may be wrong, in which case I welcome a correction to this one statement; What happened to Zero Tolerance for bullies?!? Does this not apply to PSD?!?

            Everyone is human and therefore prone to make mistakes, how do you rectify such a mistake in regards to this situation?!?…be honest….

    • I have a Pit Bull & an Am Staff. I also work. I have left my Pit in the crate all day, & she has NEVER urinated, nor defecated in her crate. I have had numerous foster puppies & once they become house broken, and are old enough to control their bladders, they never do, either.
      I dont know this person, an not from her area, & dont have any agenda. I just know that 19 Pit Bulls locked away in crates covered in their own crap is NOT normal, & no honest dog rescue would have them in that condition…

      • As one in animal rescue and rehab, I can beyond all doubt say that a cage full of feces and urine at the very least is neglectful. No straight up rescue would keep dogs in such awful conditions. Would YOU spend a day comfortably lying in your own fecal matter?

    • Please explain then why 19 of the dogs had to be euthanized? She might also be an animal hoarder which is very dangerous for both the person and the animals involved.

      Antelope Acres usually has property lots that exceed 1 acre if not more. Why were the dogs caged? Why not at least build outdoor runs for them where they can stretch out?

      If she were a legitimate rescue, she would have been working with local vet hospitals to get the dogs vaccinated. I know the one I use does it all the time.

      If you are truly a vet, please let us know where you practice so I know not to take my pets to you.

FYI, I rescue/foster/transport and NEVER seem to have an issue with urine and feces in my dogs crates.   19. Don’t be so quick to judge someone based on a news story headline. I’ve worked in animal rescue for over 30 years, and been a vet for 27, and I’ve never seen a big dog in a crate that DIDN’T get filled with urine and feces after the caretakers had been away all day at the OTHER job.

    Most of the cases are rescues which are well-intentioned, overwhelmed, and understaffed. Probably over a third of all rescued pitbulls in or near LA “shown signs of dog fighting.” Doesn’t mean the RESCUER did it.

    As for the child abuse charge, if a minor (17 yrs, 11 mo) was on living on the property, the charge follows, regardless of involvement or exposure.

    The story has ALLEGATIONS of a prosecutor. WAIT FOR THE FACTS to come out before YOU hang someone. Rebuilding a wrongly ruined life is difficult. They may have been busting their ass to care for these animals, NOT fighting or abusing them.

    If it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, it may be a goose described by someone who doesn’t know what the hell he’s looking at or talking about.

      Large dogs, who are taken care of, & taken out of their crates at the am & pm of the day (before & after work, for example) do NOT fill their crates with urine & feces! I have dogs, & foster puppies. Even the puppies dont fill the crate with their own filth! They hold it as long as they can, which is, for an adult dog, all day, unless they are sick.

    • I love dogs. I have had dogs all my life. Currently my pack consists of 2 Boston Terriers, a Pit, a Pit mix and 2 Manx cats. I have never come home to urine or feces in one of their crates, let alone FILLED with it. And if I did I would clean it!!!! There is no way a dog could FILL his crate with waste in 8, 10 or even 24 hours. I VOLUNTEERED at an animal shelter, CLEANED 20 dog kennels (inside the facility and the outdoor areas of each) PLUS cleaned about as many litter boxes AND washed and filled food and water dishes for each animal. This was all done each morning with the help of ONE other volunteer BEFORE the facility opened to the public at NOON. It wouldn’t take much for 3 people to care for 19 dogs if that was truly their intention, no matter how long their work day. THERE IS NO EXCUSE! I would love to have 19 dogs but as a RESPONSIBLE PET OWNER I know I couldn’t properly maintain that many. These people need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and NEVER be allowed to own ANY other animals.

  20. What is sad is she is on paid leave. So when they say the schools are broke forfid trips and supplies maybe it’s because we give criminals paid leave. Teachers who are caught looking a kiddi porn get a chance to retire instead of getting fired so your tax dollars pays for their retirement benefits or whatever negotiated on their contract. But yet our kids have had to double their class sizes and not get to do field trips etc. they need to start putting in the union contracts that if ever you are arrested for anything involving the harm of a child or something illegal they get fired on the spot

    • Because they have to. She is innocent until proven guilty. By placing her on leave at least they are removing her from work.

    • She is not under a union. It is a mutual contract between Palmdale and her. As for the specifics of her contract it is free and available at the Palmdale website, you may have to read through multiple board meetings though, probably too much work to become informed.

  21. It is shocking and very disturbing that a school administrator would be involved or condone the abuse of animals in front of a child in their own home. The treatment of these dogs was clearly criminal, and who knows what was done to the child. A dog fighting ring is no place for a school administrator, or a child. What will become of the child if both mother and boyfriend are charged! This is a very disturbing story indeed. With terrible ramifications for all the innocents…child and dogs. The woman cannot claim she was not involved, even if the boyfriend owned the dogs, she allowed animal abuse in her home, and in front of her child. Horrifying.

          and physicians recognize as a well known fact that if a person is cruel to or abuses an animal, they are also very likely to abuse and treat children and spouses cruelly. Those organizations share information with child protective services and local law enforcement which can be very helpful in identifying abusers and children who are potential abusers. Also, in many states now, animal abuse is a felony with a sentence of up to several years in the state penitentiary. So no, it isn’t a joke.

          • Good news for food animals. More laws just kicked into place for some of them so that they have larger living areas and better handling methods here in the State of California.

            Gowchong – while at its base all killing is abuse, in terms of food supply and abuse there are methods that are considered quick and painless or minimal pain as opposed to the abuse of fighting animals and starving them to death long term.
            Plants have emotions and communicate with each other as well. The more studies are done on forest reclaiming and forest harvesting the more we discover how much communication is actually done between all of nature. So even vegetarians kill, especially if they live in homes made of lumber, and fill them with all manner of toxic goods.
            We are all food for something else, thus is the circle of life, thus we should be thankful to each other for this life.

        One person does not make a district good or bad. I lived through the horrible management and tyranny of the former super.- R. Gallizzi, Winbush was promoted under his direction. PSD is a very different district these days with Mr. Maldonado and 4 new board members. Everything is getting better and better. As for Winbush, I’m not a judge nor am I on her jury, the court will decide her fate. If the evidence is as strong as the news suggests, then Winbush will be given what she deserves.

As interim superintendent she did quite a bit to enhance the state of the district that was repeatedly being failed prior. Do not wish 13 years on anyone who has never done anything to harm any living being, human or animal. Keep in mind people do have families and these are lives being destroyed.

Absolutely disgusting…and anyone with a heart a soul would see her actions for what they truly were. And the simple fact that she is a superintendent sets her in a position to be a role model for the students and teachers she serves. DISGUSTING AND INHUMANELY.

    • Sounds like you may be in denial. Being accomplished in your career doesn’t equate being accomplished in your private life and is irrelevant. Someone can be a good daughter, son, friend, etc and be making poor choices. Additionally, telling people to go to Hell? Sounds like you and Winbush are a perfect match.

    • She is innocent until proven guilty. Many so many condemning people who do their own form of a wrong just may not be caught. How about we wait and see what is shown in trial, if it goes there at all. Some of you should be ashamed of what you have written. Makes you just as bad as what you claim this person is.   34. She is not guilty until found so in a courtroom by her peers. Allegations place her on paid leave. If convicted she will loose her credential and never be able to be around children.

    • Innocent until proven guilty is for court only. People are allowed to hold their opinions on the guilt and innocence of other people. Just like what happened in Ferguson. A lot of people got on the band wagon and convicted the police officer. When he was lawfully cleared people didn’t care. They still maintained he was guilty. Same thing is and will happen here.

    • Keep in mind Adale, we are under the Constitutional Justice System which says, “Innocent until PROVEN guilty.” We might not agree with that System, but it is the System that is in place. So in the eyes of the Palmdale School District, she is innocent. Maybe not in our eyes, but legally, she is currently innocent, so the Palmdale School District has to keep paying her unless, and until they find reason (incompetence, dereliction of duty, insubordination, etc.) to fire her. That’s why it is, for the Palmdale School District, a “personnel” matter.

      • She’s only considered innocent in a court of law for the purposes of trial, which means a judge or jury is required to start at innocent. They couldn’t charge her with a crime or try her if the police and prosecuter didn’t believe she’s guilty. Anyone else is free to believe as they wish and act on those beliefs, within the bounds of law. A lot of people don’t understand that.

    • Adale, in our justice system, Pauline Winbush is innocent until proven guilty. Thus, the Palmdale School District must keep paying her until, or unless they find reasonable cause to fire her. Reasonable cause would include something such as incompetence, dereliction of duty, insubordination, abandonment of job, etc. At this time, the PSD has found no cause. So unless Winbush resigns or unless the PSD finds adequate reason to fire her, the PSD is forced to pay her.

      • Who is forcing the PSD to pay her? place her on administration leave without pay. Why do we the pay her to sit in jail. What law says that?

        • She’s probably in the union. Otherwise the fact she had 19 pit bulls that had to be put down and other animals in abusively poor condition would be enough to fire her. There are contract clauses for unnacceptable behavior that reflects poorly on the school or her profession but it takes years to get the case through the union.

          • Administration and management are not in unions. Wait, those so called friends and family that knew this lady for years, that visited her home, and that saw her on a daily basis thought nothing of the 19 cages of animals in her home? For those who are posting in her defense right now, You should have repeated these three words to Ms. Winbush…STOP COMMITTING CRIMES! Let’s say for one second I believed her not guilty plea, someone please explain the caged animals, most without licenses or vaccinations, and what they were used for? This was either a lavish foreign delicatessant or an animal training grounds. Whatever the law has in store for her, she deserves! Wow, and this was the lady second in line for a superintendency? What kind of district are you running in the Antelope Valley?

          • There is no Union for admins and management at PSD. I agree though, it shouldn’t be a paid leave. I hope PSD and Mr. Maldonado speed up the investigation and find a suitable replacement. Winbush should be ashamed of her actions and the bad name she is giving the district. This is bad, bad PR for a district trying to rebuild itself from the wreckage that Roger Gallizzi left behind.

        • The Education Code of the State of California forces the PSD to pay her while she is on administrative leave pending the outcome of their investigation and/or the court trial.
          The reasoning is if a person is found to be innocent then they get paid because it was not their fault they had to leave work (circumstances beyond their control).
          I do not remember if the person has to pay back that pay if found guilty, though the way the state stays on top of things if that is required the state will not collect.

        • That’s why our school system is bankrupt. She is due her day in court, but she should NOT be on paid leave. She’s not on holiday in Jamaica or having a baby. This is insanity. I have had personal dealings with this woman over the years and she is unpleasant, unhelpful, and dislikes children. These sllegations don’t surprise me one bit.

          • Put her on unpaid leave until she is either cleared of the charges or goes to trial and is found innocent. At that time give all of her back pay in one lump sum.

    • I don’t think its because she was striking a child. Most likely due to unsanitary conditions. Either way, not cool.
