LANCASTER – In honor of late local veteran and longtime community member Delmar Van Dam, Judy’s Café will be serving free breakfast on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11. Proof of military service will be required for the free meal.

Judy’s Café is located at 43855 Sierra Highway in Lancaster.

A special breakfast menu will be offered on Veterans Day, developed from the café’s popular menu items of classic American fare. Judy’s husband and business partner, Earl, will be at the grill from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

To pay tribute to those who serve and have served our country, High Desert Dairy and Van Dam Brothers will be sponsoring the event.

“We are proud to welcome veterans and active military staff to our restaurant and give back as a way of saying ‘Thank you,’” stated owner Judy Prichard.

For more information, contact Judy’s Café at 661-723-0411. View a flyer for this event here.

Other 2014 Veterans Day free meals and discounts

Many other chain restaurants and national companies will be thanking our veterans by providing them with discounts or a free meal on Veterans Day, according to The Military Wallet – a personal finance website for military members, veterans and their families.

Hey Ken Mann, where’s your patriotism at your Camille’s Café? Rex won’t mind your doing something right for a change.

I personally have never had a meal at Judys Cafe but definitely will now. I’m 100% in support of all businesses that will give a little to our Vets whom gave a lot for all of us!

God Bless your patriotism, now what about that little place our councilman Ken Mann owns, called Camille’s Sidewalk Café. Where’s your patriotism Ken, or is it in hock to Rex?

I misplaced my DD214. Just out of luck. Maybe a picture in uniform will do?
