PALMDALE – Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum is returning to the Antelope Valley with a production of William Shakespeare’s comedy “As You Like It” at the Palmdale Playhouse.

The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Playhouse, located at 38334 10th Street West in Palmdale. Tickets, which are normally $37 for a Theatricum production, are just $5; and students (15 and under) and seniors (65 and older) are free.

Reservations are required for free tickets. Tickets are available at www.cityofpalmdale.org/playhouse or by calling 661-267-5685.

“This delicious comedy is one of Shakespeare’s best loved,” said Palmdale Recreation Supervisor Annie Pagliaro. “This fun-filled tale of friendship, love and forgiveness is perfect for the whole family – full of music, poetry and laughter. Best friends Celia and Rosalind run away to the Forest of Arden, in disguise, as a boy and a country girl. There they find love, Rosalind’s banished father, and the blessings of a country life. Don’t miss Theatricum’s production set in the post-Civil war era and full of American folk songs!”
