PALMDALE – The South Antelope Valley Education Foundation has announced the Palmdale Auto Mall as the 2014 Dream Award Recipient.

The award is given annually to a business or individual who has shown exemplary support of education in the community. Palmdale Auto Mall hosted the Celebrate Education event in May, sponsored the Antelope Valley Rubber Duck Race in August and supported numerous other school competitions and events this year.

The Palmdale Auto mall will receive the award at the 6th annual Dream Awards Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 6 at the Antelope Valley Country Club. Cocktail hour with passed hors d’oeuvre begins at 6 p.m., and the gourmet five course dinner will be served at 7 p.m.

SAVE Foundation President Dennis Shaffer encourages all who want to support the education of local students to attend this event.

There will be many opportunities during the evening to support specific programs such as music, sports, technology, engineering, art and other educational experiences that are essential to local students.

A silent basket auction and a live auction at 8 p.m. will conclude the evening.  The live auction will include an exclusive tour of Jay Leno’s 100,000-square-foot private car collection, a Ventura sailing adventure, Outdoor Movie night & BBQ for 12 of your special guests, Wine Barrel Commissioned Artwork, Jay Leno autographed Harley Davidson jacket, Executive Dinner party in your home including live music for eight of your special guests, and two five-day getaways to Lake Tahoe and the beach community of Summerland.

For tickets or sponsorship opportunities, call 661-537-6161 or 661-272-5672, email savefoundation@yahoo.com or visit savefoundation.net.
