“This is How We Roll Palmdale!” now airing

PALMDALE – The City of Palmdale has launched a new television program called “This is How We Roll Palmdale” which is now airing on the City’s television station, Channel 27, on the City’s Web site, www.cityofpalmdale.org, and on the City’s YouTube channel, “CityofPalmdale.”

“This is How We Roll, Palmdale with Ruth and Kery” is a monthly production of 5 to 10 minute videos on a variety of public safety and community engagement topics that are presented in a fun and sometimes humorous way to entertain as well as inform.

The first episode introduces the city’s Crime Prevention Officers and show hosts, Ruth Oschmann and Kery German.  [View the first episode above]

Upcoming episodes will focus on Community Service Officers, how to file a police report and how to be a good neighbor.

“We wanted to present important information to our residents in a light-hearted way,” said Oschmann.

“If there are any subjects that our residents want us to discuss, let us know by calling 661-267-5170 and we’ll do our best to make it into an episode,” added German.

“This is How We Roll, Palmdale with Ruth and Kery” airs on Palmdale Channel 27 on Time Warner Cable.  All of the City’s Channel 27 original programming and current schedules are also available on the City’s Web site at www.cityofpalmdale.org and on their YouTube Channel, “CityofPalmdale.”
