Help create the theme for AV Fair 2015

LANCASTER – Antelope Valley Fairgrounds officials are challenging residents to submit theme ideas for the 2015 AV Fair & Alfalfa Festival.

The winner of the Fair 2015 theme contest will ride in the annual Fair parade as a VIP, receive two tickets to all concerts and arena entertainment and be invited to the annual kick-off (Volunteer Appreciation) dinner.

To qualify, slogans must be five words or less and must be specifically about Fair food. Slogans need not rhyme.

Multiple ideas can be submitted per entry, and each entry must include complete contact information (i.e. name, address, phone number and e-mail). Ideas should be submitted in list form in one email or on one sheet of paper via fax, mail or hand-delivery.

In the case of duplicate entries of the same theme, the entry submitted first will be included in the competition.

To qualify for the competition, entries must be submitted by 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 15. 

Antelope Valley Fair Association Directors will select the winning entry, and the winning theme will be announced on Wednesday, Nov. 19.

    Circus theme would fit in perfectly!!

      I was thinking the same theme. And the more I thought about it… now I’m thinking maybe not. There’s lots of people scared of clowns.

        If the clown’s name is Pagliacci, it’s best to be scared.
