Palmdale offering free water wise landscaping CDs

Water Wise Landscaping in PalmdalePALMDALE – The City of Palmdale is offering free copies of a CD, titled “Beautiful High Desert Gardening: Water Wise Landscaping in Palmdale,” while supplies last.

Residents may pick one up at Palmdale City Hall, 38300 Sierra Highway, Suite A, Palmdale.

Business hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 6 pm.

“Looking to install beautiful, low maintenance landscaping that won’t bust your budget?” asked Palmdale’s Communications Manager John Mlynar. “A world of ideas is just a few mouse clicks away.”

The CD features garden tours of various high desert gardens; information on more than 1,000 plants; a gardening encyclopedia of water-wise landscape design, irrigation and maintenance tips; watering pointers; and more.
