PALMDALE – The City of Palmdale’s DryTown Water Park is helping kids treat their dads on Father’s Day with a special “Bring Dad Free” offer on Sunday, June 15.
“Spend a Father’s Day that will be filled with fun and will create great memories,” said Dry Town Manager Eric Dombrowski. “Kids can bring their dads for free in celebration of Father’s Day.”
Now in its ninth year of operation, DryTown is open daily now through Aug. 10 and on weekends from Aug. 16 to September 14.
Single season passes are $84 for non-residents and discounted to $68 for Palmdale residents. Daily passes for 48” tall and over are $21 for non-residents and discounted to $16 for Palmdale residents; passes for under $48” tall are $15 for non-residents and discounted to $12 for Palmdale residents; and admission is for ages 2 and under. Passes for seniors 62 years are $15 and are discounted to $12 for Palmdale residents. Passes for members of the military are $12 and military “juniors” are $9.
“If you visit DryTown more than once, our season passes are a great value,” Dombrowski. “Plus season pass holders get free admission to our ‘Sundown at DryTown,’ Fiesta de Aqua” and “Glow” special events.”
“Sundown at DryTown” is a popular event that takes advantage of the Antelope Valley summer evening weather, and will take place each Friday from July 11 through Aug. 8 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. “Fiesta de Aqua” will take place Saturday, July 26 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. The first 100 guest will receive a free keychain. “Glow” will take place on Saturday, Aug. 9 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. The first 100 guests will receive a glow in the dark necklace.
