Sights from Memorial Day Services 2014

Hundreds of residents gathered at local cemeteries today (Monday, May 26, 2014) for Memorial Day Services dedicated to fallen heroes and those missing in action. Here are sights from the ceremonies at Joshua Memorial Park in Lancaster and Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Palmdale.

    6 men, 1 woman. I am a non-religious person; yesterday morning, I woke and asked whichever deity would watch over them to grant his cover. My Brothers, my Sister, God bless, walk strong, and move forward with intent. We are always here to watch your steps, your tribe, your family; gone, never forgotten. Walk forward and know, that even though your gone, your Brothers and Sisters will continue your work, and we await nothing more than a great reunion. We are many, we are one, but never will we be whole again.
