PALMDALE – A team of law enforcement officers raided an east Palmdale home on Saturday and recovered a large quantity of methamphetamine, authorities said.

The search warrant operation was conducted all day Saturday, April 26, and most of the night at a home in the 3800 Block of Triton Court.

Local deputies stood guard out front as federal agents, a HAZMAT team, and the Sheriff Department’s Narcotics Bureau worked in the backyard to apparently dismantle a meth lab.

At least three suspects were taken into custody Saturday, officials said.

Little details were available Sunday about the meth bust, because the investigation is ongoing, Sheriff’s officials said.

Neighbors in the area said the home had only been occupied for a few months. They said they could not be sure who lived there because random people came and went at all hours and various vehicles were always coming and going.

As a neighbor to this house, which I live a couple doors down from, it was scary to see hazmat and people in bunny suits walking back and forth. However I did speak with an officer and was a little relieved that this house was used to “clean” the meth and not to “cook” it cause my first question to him was, “could this house have blown up?” in which he said no. I have children and that was my first concern that we would have all blown up. I am glad the officers and DEA came and removed any particle of meth so children don’t accidentally get their hands on it.

IN SOME CASES THESE CRIMMINALS FIND A VICTIM AND USE THERE APT OR HOME, AND TURN IT UPSIDE DOWN, AND MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THE RENTER IS THE ONE DOING WRONG. I’VE TALKED TO MANY AND HEARD THE SAME STORY, ITS NOT RIGHT. SOME PEOPLE DON’T REALIZE THIS IS WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THEM WHEN THESE SO CALLED FRIENDS OR ACCANTIANCES COME ALONG, AND DO THIS, AND GET THERE KIDS TAKEN AWAY AND BIG PROBLEMS PUT ON THEM. IT’S CRAZY OUT THERE. GOD PUT US ON EARTH TO MAKE IT BETTER NOT WORSE. USE CRIMESTOPPERS OR 661-272-2400 AND TELL ON THESE MF’S. THERE TRYING TO TURN GOD’S PEOPLE INTO DIRT AND THEMSELVES INTO RICHES. FIGHT BACK OUT THERE. YOU CAN DO IT ANONAMOUSLY. THERE IS DRUG DEALERS OFFERING LOTS OF MONEY TO SELL THERE DRUGS

Another example of the City of Palmdale making a hostile environment to one of it’s largest industries and employers. Next the Meth Labs will follow Toyota and move to Texas.

In some instances, yes the home can be seized. It all depends on the circumstances. If the owner was the one who tipped of the police, then it shows that they were aware of the problem.

Another scenario would be that the house is in foreclosure or the “tenants” are squatters and just moved in without consent.

The house was vacant. The house went into foreclosure and they moved out a couple months ago. I never saw anyone going in and out.

    Next to school? Really??
It’s the new way to hide or blend in a normal family oriented community.
But our Sherifs are kicking ass.. At busting all the criminals out of the AV.
Thank you so so much for all the help and all the protection that you law enforcement are doing to save our communities.
AV is still better then the valley or LA.
    God bless Palmdale.
I will keep my eyes open to make sure I report any and every crime I may come across.
I give our Sherifs 5 *****stars xoxo
