Palmdale DUI checkpoint results

PALMDALE – No one was arrested for driving under the influence, but four unlicensed drivers were cited at a Palmdale Sheriff’s Station sobriety and driver’s license checkpoint Friday night and early Saturday morning.

The checkpoint was conducted between 6 p.m. and 2 a.m. on Avenue S between 37th Street East and 40th Street East.

The results are as follows:

*762 vehicles through the checkpoint.

* 762 drivers checked at the checkpoint.

* One suspended / revoked driver was arrested and sent to court.

* Four unlicensed drivers were arrested and sent to court.

* One vehicle was impounded for 30 Days.

* Four vehicles were released per checkpoint release procedures.

This checkpoint was one of many that have been or will be conducted throughout the year in Palmdale, officials said.
