PALMDALE – Somebody in Palmdale bought a Mega Millions ticket and matched five out of six numbers to win a cool $320,061!
The lucky person bought the ticket at Palmdale Liquor & JR Markets, located at 2270 East Palmdale Boulevard, the California Lottery announced in a press release.
The ticket matched the numbers 39, 4, 70, 46, and 47, missing only the Mega number 13 in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing.
The California Lottery strongly urges the Palmdale winner from Tuesday night’s draw to sign the back of the ticket in ink, keep it in a safe place, then visit the local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. The winner has 180 days from the date of the draw to claim the prize.
It’s been a win-filled two years in Palmdale, as a Mega Millions ticket worth $470,000 was purchased last October and another Mega Millions ticket worth $219,000 was also purchased here in April 2013. The biggest win happened back in 2012, when one Palmdale player won $23 Million playing SuperLotto Plus.
The Mega Millions jackpot rolls over and is worth an estimated $38 million this Friday (April 18).
Mega Millions is played in California (and 42 other states, plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands). Draw times are Tuesdays and Fridays at 8 p.m. PST. Tickets are $1 and can be purchased from any of the more than 21,000 California Lottery retailers. Visit the California Lottery’s Mega Millions site here for more information on how to play.

Those are the numbers I picked but I can’t find my ticket.

@Mike C.
Look in the fridge. That’s where I find my car keys sometimes. when I catch the person who puts them there, look out.
Eric says
You sure you are in the right house William?
William says
Hmmm. Not sure. They all look alike around here; stucco with tile roofs. I’ll check the closet to see if the clothes fit me.
