Apply now for AVC scholarships

AVC Foundation Scholarship application deadlineLANCASTER – A variety of scholarships are available to students from numerous corporate and community donors through the Antelope Valley College Foundation. Scholarships in various majors range from $250 to $2,000 and are available for:

  • Continuing AVC students who have completed six credit units by the end of the Fall 2013 semester;
  • AVC students who are transferring to a four-year university; and
  • High school seniors planning to enter AVC during the 2014-15 school year.

The deadline to apply for scholarships through the Antelope Valley College Foundation is Tuesday, January 21, 2014. A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required for all applicants.

How to apply

Applications and related materials are available online at www.avc.edu/foundation/scholarships.html. Completed scholarship applications must be accompanied by two letters of recommendation and/or reference forms, at least one from a faculty member, plus a personal statement from the applicant.

The application package must be submitted to the AVC Financial Aid Office by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21.

Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted; no exceptions will be made for individual cases or hardships.
