Deputies protecting local students

by Opinion • January 3, 2014

Editor’s Note: A reader, who requested not to be named, asked us to share this video with other readers in order to “show our local law enforcement in a more positive light.”

The LA County-produced video is titled “Sheriff’s Department Protecting County Students,” and it showcases local deputies Ray Wilson and Dale Lovvik in their day-to-day activities as School Resource Officers in the Palmdale School District. Most of the two and a half-minute video was shot at Juniper Intermediate School, and it was uploaded online two months ago as part of the Los Angeles County Annual Report. View it below:

How ironical, the reader who asked to share this video requested not to be named. What is he or she afraid of? Not 100% confident of the protection maybe. If there is nothing to hide why hide it.
