LITTLEROCK – A 12-year-old boy was tied up with a Game Boy charger cord and gagged with a pillowcase while thieves ransacked his home looking for money Thursday night, the boy’s mom told deputies.
The incident was reported around 7:30 p.m. Thursday at a home in the 8900 block of East Avenue T-12 in Littlerock, according to deputy Crotty of the Palmdale Sheriff Station.
“The call said three male suspects entered the house, tied up her 12-year-old son [and] ransacked the home,” Crotty said, adding that he did not have a description of the suspects or any further information because a full police report had not yet been turned in.
Deputies who responded to the home Thursday night could be seen removing a box of power cords and a white pillowcase from the home.
The boy appeared shaken but did not appear to have any physical injuries, and he was not transported to the hospital. His mother, who did not give her name, said she came home from the store and found the door open and her son tied up inside.
“My son was lying down on the floor and his hands were tied up and he had that white cloth stuck in his mouth,” the victim’s mother said.
“They said they were just gonna kill me and stuff if I refused…” the boy said, adding that one of the intruders had a handgun. “I just don’t want to be killed, that’s all that went through my mind,” the boy said.
The boy said the intruders came in through a kitchen window, searched and ransacked the home, and escaped through a back door. It was unclear if anything was taken from the home.
The incident remains under investigation, and no suspects were in custody as of Friday afternoon, officials said. Anyone with information on this incident is urged to contact the Palmdale Sheriff Station at 272-2400. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-tips (8477).

Wow, no sympthy for the family? Crimes in general effect people but home invasions can be the most traumatizing. I feel bad the this family went through this expecially the 12 y.o. BOY @Barbie how can you possibly do anything when someone has a handgun locked and loaded to your face? Chances are the individuals who invaded the home tied her son up. If you read the article correctly you would have noticed that the mother said she saw her son on the floor tied up. She was there. I know crime happens everywhere but I am really shocked this happen in Little rock.

I was just wondering how come it doesn’t specify if the mom was there or not? it said she made a police report, but if she was there then how come only the little boy got tied up? Just wondering.
As says
According to the story, it says the mom came back from the store and found him tied up. So it looks like she wasn’t home. Reread it.

It really doesn’t matter were you live, someone who is looking to break the law will pick any house that looks easy to get in will be there target. Most criminals will do there homework and know what house and what.

Time to move away from Littlerock! This was such a nice place to live when I moved here in 2003, now I am going to feel like I have to lock my door even when I am home!
