PALMDALE – The Palmdale Playhouse is seeking experienced guest directors for future productions to be performed at the Palmdale Playhouse.
“If you love theatre and would like to put your skills to use and bring your artistic vision to the stage, we encourage you to apply today,” said Palmdale’s Recreation Supervisor Annie Pagliaro.
Applications for the volunteer positions are available on the City’s Web site, the Recreation & Culture office located at 38260 10th Street East, and at the Palmdale Playhouse located at 38334 10th Street East in Palmdale.
Applications will be accepted through Jan. 15, 2014. Mail or hand deliver the application to: Annie Pagliaro, Recreation Supervisor, 38260 10th Street East, Palmdale, CA 93550.

Free notary service at the Palmdale Library
A local notary public will offer free notary services from 1 to 2:30 pm., Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Palmdale City Library, located at 700 East Palmdale Boulevard.
“If you need something notarized, here’s your chance, as we’ll be providing his services for free during that time,” said City Librarian Thomas Vose.
The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
