Countdown to College Information Night & Harvest Celebration

College Information FairLANCASTER – Calling all college-bound students!

The Antelope Valley Union High School District will host the annual College Information Night and Harvest Celebration from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 12 at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds.

Parents and students from all public and private schools in the Antelope Valley are invited to talk with representatives from over 60 universities, technical schools, community colleges, military, and other postsecondary institutions during the event.

Workshops on “Writing the College Essay” and “Financial Aid” will be offered, as well.

Attendees will also be able to obtain information on the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) requirements and the college admission process.

For the 10th year, the AVUHSD will be part of this event by hosting the Harvest Celebration, which showcases local high school programs and students successes.

School site administrators and counselors, as well as school district administrators and board members, also will be available to talk with parents and students during the event.
