LANCASTER – Senator Steve Knight (R-Antelope Valley) is inviting residents to join him at an upcoming town hall meeting in Lancaster.

The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, at  American Heroes Park Community Building, located at 701 W Kettering Avenue in Lancaster.

“I’m delighted to be holding my first town hall in Lancaster since being elected to the State Senate.  Meeting with these residents helps me to understand their concerns and to discuss issues important to our community and California,” Knight said in a press release. “It is a mutually beneficial event that I enjoy holding throughout my District.”

The town hall meeting will cover a variety of issues, including budget, taxes, water, legislation and other topics of interest to constituents.

For more information on this upcoming meeting, contact Lisa Moulton at Knight’s Antelope Valley District Office at 661-729-6232.

Senator Steve Knight, (R-Antelope Valley), represents the 21st Senate District in the California Legislature, which includes communities throughout the Antelope, Santa Clarita and Victor Valleys.

Funny how he started getting more involved in the community when he noticed Steve Fox was so involved. Since Steve Fox was elected he’s given out many recognitions to students and active members in the community, in the MANY years Knight has been in office he has only recently started recognizing his constituents and has barely started listening to them. Steve Knight is a joke.

Saw him on Channel 3 recently. He looks horrible. Is he sick or did he have bad plastic surgery? Scarey looking.

Or mayby just scared since Steve Fox is upstaging him and will keep upstaging him as he belongs to the ‘do nothing party’. I guess he’s having a town hall meeting in Lancaster to play to the conservatives.

I like to remind people that at a town hall meeting several years ago at the Holiday Inn in Palmdale, a woman asked about ‘voter fraud’ and Knight agreed with her that it was a problem and he said he opposed funding for voting booths on college campuses because they weren’t set up for the crowds.

Is he kidding? People have voted in their neighbor’s garages and elementary schools for ages but Knight thinks colleges and universities aren’t capable of handling the crowds THAT ARE ALREADY THERE EVERY DAY of class sessions.

Other than Mitt Romney using his son’s basement address to vote in Massachusetts, I’m not aware of any other significant ‘voter fraud’.

When is Knight termed out? Not soon enough.

Plus, I think Knight is sweating cause Steve Fox is already lookin’ good compared to his lackluster, seat-warming performance in Sacramento.

He is up for re-elections soon. Daddy’s legacy can only take him so far if he has no actual legislation back him up

Will Senator Knight address the abduction, by Space Aliens perhaps, of Deputy Dog Smith?

Please, Palmdale_Steve. Please. Any alien intelligent life forms that could travel to our planet would not want to abduct D.D. Smith. I’m sure they would find a Joshua Tree more interesting and intelligent and worth the trip.
