Junior Girl Scouts Emma G, Emma H., Karlie and Alexis are campaigning to help Powerhouse Fire victims through Girl Scout Troop 7042.

PALMDALE – Members of Girl Scout Troop 7042 have been campaigning for more than a week to assist victims of the recent Powerhouse Fire.

The group is continuing to look for children’s clothing, tools, office equipment, plants, household goods and anything else people are willing to donate to help the 30 homeowners who lost their homes to recover from the damages.

All money will be donated to the Red Cross in honor of Powerhouse Fire victims, and all items will be sorted and distributed to the appropriate families in need.

The drop-off location in Santa Clarita is open between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for smaller items at Imortgage, 25152 Springfield Ct Suite 150 and Titan Water Pro, 17808 Sierra Highway.

To donate larger items, contact Donna Oehler-Lovvik at 661-618-9444 or email realtordonnao@gmail.com

The campaign will continue until June 19.
