PALMDALE – Keller Williams Realty, in conjunction with the City of Palmdale and the Antelope Valley Mall, announced the results of their recent Red Day events.

Between their food drive and Red Day Walk, Keller Williams raised $12,645 in cash and over 10,000 pounds of food for local charities, including South Antelope Valley Emergency Services (SAVES), Grace Resources, the WAVE Foundation, the American Cancer Society, and the local Keller Williams AV Cares.

Palmdale Mayor Jim Ledford presented certificates of appreciation to the Antelope Valley Mall, Scott Word from Waypoint Homes, Troy Hoeft of Direct Path Loans, Dawn Zirbel of First American Home Warranty, Yvonne Zeballos of Lawyers Title, Shanna Roskilly of OnTrack Escrow, and Jessica Wood from Old Republic Home Protection for their sponsorship and donations.

Keller Williams associates help load over 10,000 pounds of food for transport to SAVES and Grace Resources.

Ledford and Larry Burkey of Keller Williams also thanked the Westside School District for organizing their student body of 10,000 to help raise over 8,000 pounds of food.

“Keller Williams took this to another level this year,” said Palmdale Mayor Jim Ledford. “They really engaged the community to come together for a great cause for the entire Antelope Valley.”

RED Day (Renew, Energize and Donate) is an initiative dedicated to celebrating Keller Williams Realty’s year-round commitment to improving its local communities.

Each year, on the second Thursday in May, tens of thousands of associates from across the United States and Canada participate in a wide range of projects, devoting their time to renewing and energizing aspects of the neighborhoods in which they serve.
