LANCASTER –Hundreds of residents came out Saturday evening (Feb. 23) for the 23rd annual Heartsounds Gala, the signature fundraising event for the Children’s Center of the Antelope Valley.

The event, which took place at the Hellenic Center in Lancaster, was themed “Bourbon Street Ball,” in honor of the famous New Orleans celebration “Mardi Gras.”

The room was decorated with a vibrant green, purple and gold flair; the entertainment was Mardi Gras themed; and the menu included gumbo, red beans and dirty rice, BBQ ribs, and other Big Easy classics.

The fundraiser was emceed by Dr. Tom Nasser, a doctor of osteopathic medicine and a Children’s Center supporter.  Live auction items of the evening, included a seven-night stay in Cabo San Lucas, Lakers tickets, and a Mammoth getaway.

Richard Case, owner of RC’s Limousine Service, won a trip to the New Orleans French Quarter as part of a raffle prize, donated by Drs. Tom and Susan Nasser.

After expenses, the 23rd annual Heartsounds Gala raised more than $50,000 for child abuse treatment, prevention and education programs at the Children’s Center of the Antelope Valley. More financial donations in connection with the event were still coming in as of Monday afternoon, according to organizers.

The Children’s Center has provided healing services for Antelope Valley children traumatized by child abuse since 1988.  Services have expanded to include prevention programs, community awareness and education, advancing the Center’s mission, “To protect the children of the Antelope Valley from abuse through prevention, treatment, and education.”

what it do?, from Hidden Hills, California I want to mention, I enjoyed this blog post. However, it is strange how I ended up on your blog. I searched for osaka airport limousine on Lycos and ended up on your website. I must say I do like your site and will check back soon. But I need to find the limo I was originally looking for first. Have a lovely day! bye-bye.

They are but the beautiful people of Lancaster. Notice the chic glamour and the abounding sophistication that surrounds them. Coutiers flaunt them for photographs. How grand to live in such a place. Hey, where’s Rex? Daniel Craig must have borrowed his evening wear.
