LITTLEROCK –  After several weeks of a burglary investigation, Lancaster deputies Thursday morning executed a search warrant at a home in the 8700 Block of East U-6 in Littlerock.

During the search, deputies found a stolen PS3 gaming system, a semi-automatic handgun, approximately five pounds of marijuana, and a laptop computer.

The PS3 gaming system was reported stolen in a Lancaster residential burglary which occurred on December 17, 2012.

Inside the Littlerock residence was 28-year-old Jayvon Michael Culver.

Culver was arrested around 10 a.m. Thursday for receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana for sales, being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm.

Culver was booked on $35,000 bail at Lancaster Sheriff’s Station.

The operation was conducted by Lancaster deputies with the Burglary Suppression Team.

Weeks of investigation and the cops came up with peanuts. Nine times out of ten…he is a legal cannabis caregiver so that gets thrown out. Receiving stolen property will be reduced to a year at worse. The handgun is for protection exfelon or not. Though it is illegal the system is failing to protect kindergartners let alone the everyday working citizen. Who is to say he knew the ps3 was stolen as opposed to being sold to him or traded. I feel it is unfair to judge him or his character having no idea of his story. And I doubt that he is a punk taking risks like that to survive. We heard nothing of the abuse of the system…of any county money, state or federal. I feel we should pay.attention to our city officials and leaders for their crimes, taking from education, healthcare, etc as opposed to a man just trying to make it on the world.

“After several weeks of a burglary investigation” One would expect more than just: “a stolen PS3 gaming system, a semi-automatic handgun, approximately five pounds of marijuana, and a laptop computer.”
What a waste of taxpayer funds!

Burgarly stuff gets pawned or hocked pretty quickly. These were probably the things they wanted to keep.

Anytime they recover stolen guns it is well worth the money.

Bet you’d be screaming the opposite if this idiot robbed your house/apartment/trailer, and you then found out he wasn’t stopped from doing so because, previously, all he was found with was “a stolen PS3 gaming system, a semi-automatic handgun, approximately five pounds of marijuana, and a laptop computer.”

5 Lbs? Not in this picture. Better launch the LEAPS and locate that missing cannabis before someone falls asleep.

Maybe they took it home to make brownies for the office. :)
