AV Mall holiday activities

Santa will be at his home in Center Court of the AV Mall from 11/16 – 12/24. Each child who visits Santa will receive a free gift.

PALMDALE – This holiday season, Antelope Valley Mall will be packed with special activities, entertainment, and give-a-ways.  Here are all the activities taking place at Antelope Valley Mall for the holiday season:

Friday, Nov. 16. Frosty’s Fun Fest.  The event will include special shopping discounts throughout the mall as well as carnival-style games for kids. Other highlights include Frosty’s Fan Jam stage show at 5:30 p.m. near Charming Charlie and the arrival of Santa Claus.

Friday, Nov. 16 – Sunday, Nov. 25. Indoor Skating Rink. The indoor skating rink, located near Charming Charlie, will be open to kids at varying hours each day.

Friday, Nov. 16 – Monday, Dec. 24. Photos with Santa.  Santa will be at his home in Center Court. Each child who visits Santa will receive a free gift.

Monday, Nov. 19 – Tuesday, Nov. 21. Turkey Time Text-To-Win.  Visit the mall to find the keycode for a chance to win a $20 AV Mall gift card. Get a free See’s Candies chocolate Turkey when you mention Turkey Time at Guest Services, while supplies last.

Mon. Dec. 3 & 10. Paws and Claus.  From 5 to 8 p.m. there will be Pet Night with Santa. Shoppers are invited to bring their cats or dogs to be photographed with Santa.  All animals must be kept on a leash and carried at all times.

Every Tuesday in December before Xmas. Holiday Bingo.  Enjoy a night of free holiday bingo in the Food Court every Tuesday in December before Christmas (12/4, 12/11 & 12/18) from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for fun and a chance to win prizes.

Every Thursday in December before Xmas. Cookies with Santa.  Join Santa at Antelope Valley Mall every Thursday in December before Christmas (12/6, 12/13 & 12/20), from 5 to 8 p.m., and enjoy a free cookie during your visit, compliments of Hilton Garden Inn.  Limited quantity available.

Wednesday, Dec. 12. Antelope Adventures Kids Club.  December’s Antelope Adventures meeting will wrap up 2012 as kids, ages 3 to 11, are welcome to decorate and take home a holiday scrapbook from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

    I wonder when “Pretty Pollyanna” isn’t going to comment about this? Maybe she’s busy getting her makeup on to play “Mrs. Clause” and stand next to Santa.

      I’m starting to think the ACE and Pretty Pollyana are ‘starters’ like when making bread.

      The AV Times is really those 2 just to get things going.
