PALMDALE – Sheriff’s homicide detectives said a man shot himself to death after shooting his girlfriend inside a Palmdale apartment early Friday morning.
The incident happened shortly before 5 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 470 Block of East Avenue Q-3, according to Sheriff’s Homicide Lieutenant Dave Coleman.
“The two were involved in an argument during which time the suspect shot the victim and then apparently shot himself,” Coleman said. “There were two other witnesses to the shooting inside the residence.”
Authorities are not releasing the names of the suspect or the victim at this time, pending notification of next of kin. Coleman said the two were boyfriend and girlfriend, and the man is 47 years old while the woman is around 25 years of age.
The victim was shot at least two times and is currently in critical condition at an area hospital, Coleman said.
“We don’t have any suspects outstanding, we believe that it was just a matter where the suspect shot his girlfriend and then shot himself,” Coleman said.

I agree that the story must be incomplete. Sylvia may be small but she is strong physically. Plus 2 witnesses?? In an apartment complex?? The writer is not to blame though.

They were not boyfriend and girlfriend. If so then only a few weeks. She was not shot that many times. Whoever wrote this article needs to do a follow up and fix things that were stated wrong, and where is his/her follow up? Not a very good article
