Have Coffee with a Deputy this Thursday

by The AV Times Staff • August 7, 2012

LANCASTER – You’re invited to meet with deputies from the Lancaster Station and members of the city’s Public Safety Office at Coffee with a Deputy.

The event takes place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., Thursday, August 9, at the Lemon Leaf Café, located at 653 West Lancaster Boulevard in Lancaster.

The focus of this month’s coffee is Senior Safety.

The Coffee with a Deputy program is designed to create a comfortable atmosphere where community members can meet with deputies from the Lancaster Station to address problems facing them in their community, or simply get to know them.

Team members from the City of Lancaster’s Safety Office will also be on hand to provide information about the Neighborhood Watch program, as well as contact information for other city services.

The Coffee with a Deputy program is held on the second Thursday of each month and rotates to a new spot each month to highlight a different business.
