by The AV Times Staff • July 26, 2012

Sequoia Golf Group has been selected to manage Rancho Vista Golf Club.

PALMDALE – One of the leading golf management organizations in the industry has been selected to manage Rancho Vista Golf Club.

Sequoia Golf Group will manage a number of improvement projects at the club that are scheduled to begin immediately, including bunker renovations, sodding of the driving range landing area and the purchase of new range balls and patio furniture.

Additional longer-lead projects slated for completion in the next 12-months include the renovations of the banquet facility, grill, foyer and patio.

“Sequoia Golf Management’s expertise and impressive track record in revitalizing courses were the key factors we considered in our selection process,” said Sally Waranch Rajcic, co-owner of Rancho Vista Golf Club. “We are excited to join forces with Sequoia and leverage their vast experience in the golf and hospitality industry.  We look forward to working with them to improve the golf course and banquet facilities, ensuring that we offer premier options to our current and prospective customers.”

Rancho Vista Golf Club is a public golf club in Palmdale that offers annual pass programs. Its 18-hole, Ted Robinson designed championship golf course measures 6,659 yards from the back tees. Rancho Vista’s clubhouse features a banquet facility that accommodates up to 225 guests, restaurant, lounge, full service bar and golf shop.

“We are extremely proud to have been selected to manage Rancho Vista,” said Joe Guerra, president and CEO of Sequoia Golf.  “We look forward to managing the capital improvements to the facility, ensuring the club’s viability moving forward. We’re confident that through our innovative programs and unique management structure we can work to further enhance Rancho Vista’s current offerings and guest experience.”
