Shooter fires into crowd Wednesday

by M. Dilworth • July 19, 2012

LANCASTER – An argument escalated into two shots being fired into a crowd Wednesday night, authorities said.

No one was hit. Deputies are seeking the public’s help in identifying the gunman, who could be charged with assault with a deadly weapon and shooting at an inhabited dwelling, said Lancaster Station spokesman Michael Rust.

The shooting happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday, near 10th Street West and Avenue H-12, where about 10 people were gathered outside a house talking, Rust said.

“According to what the witnesses are saying, the talking turned into some sort of an altercation between two females, then some of the men got involved with it,” he said. “Ultimately somebody got a gun and fired two shots into the crowd.”

Though many people apparently witnessed the shooting, none of them are offering information to detectives, Rust said.

“It’s one of those things that we are faced with, everybody knows who they are but nobody is telling us,” Rust said. “At this moment we have nothing but a male Black who left in a dark colored car.”

Anyone with information on this shooting is urged to contact Lancaster detectives at 661-948-8466. If you would like to provide information anonymously, you can do so by calling Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

So maybe one of the new “Civil Rights” groups will speak up about the “don’t snitch” code of the hood. JE and other merchants or race pimping where are you on the code of the hood?

This is what as known as “The Ghetto Wall of Silence”. It magically forms whenever there is a crime in the ghetto. In ghetto street slang, they call this the “no snitching” policy.

Wow how racist its actually called -safety for thier families- you won’t know what it’s like in the “ghetto” til you actually “live” there. They did all they could. If they would have told don’t you think the gunman remembers who was there? Next thing you know he send someone crazier to kill you and your family. Yeaaah they’re smarter than you give them credit for.

The code of silence is killing off their people. So I guess until someone has some hueovos to change things up, nothing will ever change. Cowards on both sides!

Excuse me but we all live in the ghetto that is the AV. It boils down to a social culture that doesnt like police and thinks shootings and murders are normal…
