LANCASTER – Traffic investigators from the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station are investigating the circumstances surrounding a collision, which killed a motorcyclist Monday (July 16).

The collision happened around 8:40 a.m. at the intersection of 15th Street West and Avenue K-8 in Lancaster.

The motorcyclist was injured in the collision and transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Mark was a great guy. It’s so sad to think I won’t be seeing him anymore. But his friends and family should think that even though we only had him for a short while, we were lucky he was in our lives. Tom and Rachel, I love you guys and hope that you find the strength to get through this tragedy. We will miss you always Mark. You were such a wonderful person in the community. It’s not fair. But your friends and family will love you always.
