Bill is a good guy; It’s the AV Press, not Shakespeare. I don’t like every piece he does, but he does churn out some good stuff in between some duds. If the AV Press needs to get rid of anyone, it should be Larry Vass and his asinine column/ramblings about … Actually I’m not sure what it is he babbles about. I do know that I’d rather masturbate with a cheese grater than be tortured by a Larry Vass column. Yet every Sunday there it is. If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if you gave methamphetamine to a retarded blind monkey and locked him a dark closet for 10 days with a typewriter missing half of it’s keyboard, well read Larry’s column for the probable outcome. Except the monkey’s draft would probably be funny. And have a point. ATTENTION AV PRESS: Get rid of Larry’s column. Thank you. That is all.

I’ve wondered if all those ‘awards’ the AV Press gets are like those stars that all school kids get nowadays so no one is left out. Do all the newspapers get one award or another so everyone is happy?

Warford’s column belongs on the OpEd page, not A-3. I wonder if there’s going to be an obstacle course set up, much like The Blvd., with chunks of pavement people can either trip over or avoid?

I cancelled the AV Fox News Press 6 months ago. Couldn’t take it any more. And, then I discovered the AV Times to keep up the the local news. I never bothered with national or international news in the Press cause I heard most of it the night before on TV or in the Huffington Post. I love saving the money instead of giving it to the Press.

You comparing apples to oranges. Wilson was an investigative reporter, Warford is a columnist. As such he probably doesn’t leave the office. Most newspapers have a columnist like Warford who writes about the people and the non-newsworthy type events. He’s like Jimmy Breslin et al.

So give him a little break.
