Enjoy an ‘Evening of Musical Inspiration’ at Palmdale Playhouse’

by The AV Times Staff • March 22, 2012

PALMDALE – The Palmdale Concert and Symphonic Orchestras present an “Evening of Musical Inspiration” on Wednesday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at the Palmdale Playhouse, located at 38334 10th Street East in Palmdale.

Members of both orchestras will perform solos, duets, and ensemble pieces from classical to popular music. The event showcases the talents of local musicians who are members of the City of Palmdale’s orchestral programs.

The Palmdale Concert and Symphonic Orchestras are led by Patricia Graham, a professional violinist and conductor. In addition to working for more than 10 years with the orchestra, she coaches private students in the Antelope Valley and in Santa Clarita and also provides musical direction for at least six musical productions a year.

“I’m always pleased with the musical selections members choose to present for this event,” said Graham. “It gives these musicians an opportunity to grow and challenges their musical capabilities.”

Tickets for “An Evening of Musical Inspiration” are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors, students, military and youth 12 and under.

Tickets for upcoming events may be purchased 24 hours a day on the Playhouse Web site at www.cityofpalmdale.org/playhouse.

For information please call the Playhouse at 661-267-5684
