Legacy Commons Songbirds seek singers, keyboard player

by The AV Times Staff • March 19, 2012

PALMDALE – The Legacy Common Songbirds are seeking amateur and aspiring vocalists to join them singing at the City of Palmdale’s Legacy Commons for Active Seniors on Mondays from 9:15 to 9:45 am. Legacy Commons is located at 930 East Avenue Q-9 in Palmdale.

“The Songbirds perform monthly here at Legacy Commons and are looking to add new singers and a keyboard player to help with the song arrangements and musical direction to their ranks,” said Palmdale’s Recreation Coordinator Jennifer Tallakson. “Individuals age 55 and up may come and join the fun as they sing oldies and new standards during their sing-a-longs.”

No prior vocal or musical experience required for this free activity.

Legacy Commons is open from 8 am to 12 pm Monday through Friday.

For more information call 661-267-5904.
