Palmdale launches Online Citation Service

by The AV Times Staff • February 29, 2012

Dulce Gomez demonstrates the ease of using the City of Palmdale's new online citation service.

PALMDALE – The City of Palmdale’s department of Public Safety and Community Relations has launched a new online service called PayMyCite.com that allows individuals to pay parking and administrative citations—or even dispute them—online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

“We value exceptional customer service and this new online function is very convenient. It allows a person the ease of paying or contesting parking tickets as well as administrative citations right from their home,” said Palmdale’s Parking Enforcement Supervisor Dulce Gomez. “With busy schedules and thousands of local commuters, this new feature will save time and money.”

“The new system is very user friendly,” said Gomez. “Just go to our web site, www.cityofpalmdale.org, click on the ‘Pay Citations’ tab at the top and follow the directions from there.”

Citations can also be resolved in person by coming to the Public Safety and Community Relations office, located at 827 E. Ave Q-9, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Citations may also be paid or disputed by phone or by calling 866-420-2894, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Spanish speaking representatives are also available. For more information, please contact Parking Enforcement at 661-267-5436.
