Winter/Spring edition of Palmdale Magazine now available

by The AV Times Staff • December 16, 2011

PALMDALE – The 2012 winter/spring edition of the Palmdale: News, Activities and Entertainment magazine has just been published and mailed to all Palmdale residents.

The 36-page magazine is also available online at www.cityofpalmdale.org.

“If you want a comprehensive source for all that’s going on in our City, you’ll find it in our Palmdale Magazine,” said Palmdale Communications Manager John Mlynar. “It is a great resource to help you plan out activities and obtain valuable information.”

In addition to listing all the classes and activities offered by the City’s parks and recreation department, Legacy Commons for Active Seniors and the Palmdale Playhouse, there are several interesting stories on new Palmdale businesses, public safety campaigns, youth programs, and much more. The 2012 winter/spring edition also features an article on safe driving tips during the winter weather, provides tips for how to correctly dispose of fats, oils and grease and how to clearly mark your home address.

The magazine also contains a directory of important phone numbers that residents will find useful.

Palmdale: News, Activities and Entertainment is published three times a year. The winter edition was designed by the Antelope Valley Press’ marketing department.
