The BLVD to host “Wrap Party”

by The AV Times Staff • December 15, 2011

LANCASTER – The BLVD Association will host “The BLVD Wrap Party” on Friday, Dec. 16, from 5 to 8 p.m. on the BLVD in downtown Lancaster.

“Here on the BLVD, we work to provide an atmosphere that will allow patrons to truly enjoy their shopping experience, rather than feeling the stress of shopping for the holiday season,” said Jill Cooper, president of the BLVD Association. “We invite you to come down, stroll the BLVD, grab a cup of hot chocolate or a delicious meal and enjoy the holiday music.”

The event will feature:

  • Chorale performances. The Palmdale High School choir will perform holiday favorites on the Bandstand stage at 5:30 p.m. The stage is located in front of BeX Grill at 706 W. Lancaster BLVD.
  • Photos with Santa. Santa Claus will be on hand for photos at Forge, located at 742 W. Lancaster BLVD. Bring a camera to take free photos!
  • Free gift wrapping. There will be free gift wrapping by Lancaster High School’s Interact club (a Rotary International youth organization), which will also accept donations towards the group’s charitable endeavors. Wrapping will take place at the Main Event Rental Hall, located at 731 W. Lancaster BLVD.

“We are happy to welcome organizations from throughout the Antelope Valley for this event,” said Cooper. “The BLVD has fast become the premier gathering place for our community. We invite you to join us and delight in all the BLVD has to offer this holiday season.”
