LANCASTER – Seniors at Mayflower Gardens retirement community got a special treat Wednesday morning when members of the Greater Antelope Valley Association of Realtors (GAVAR) dropped by and brought with them some holiday cheer.

The realtors, decked out in Santa hats and holiday attire, took to the stage at the restaurant in the administration building and performed several holiday classics.

The group also distributed large-print songbooks to the seniors, to encourage them to sing along, and gave out holiday candy.

Members of GAVAR decided to share the warmth of the holiday season with seniors who sometimes miss out on seasonal fun, as much of the holiday activities are focused on children.
