Fusing Cuban street salsa and hip hop with traditional Afro-Caribbean moves, and classic Latin dances — the Mambo, Rumba, and Cha Cha Cha — the Kings of Salsa are lead by choreographer Roclan Gonzales Chavez, recognized as one of the preeminent choreographers in Cuba.

Early in his career, Chavez directed teenage pop band “Chikhola”, and recorded with Isaac Delgado.  He co-created a show with Tomas Morales in 1998, then toured with Morales in 2000 as co-director. Chavez went on to tour with Lady Salsa as a choreographer, actor and singer.

The Kings of Salsa show features Cuba’s hottest dancers selected from top dance companies on the island.
