LANCASTER – A “strong odor” led Lancaster sheriff’s deputies to discover approximately 600 Marijuana plants Monday, estimated to have a street value of over one million dollars.

Members of the Lancaster Station Burglary Suppression Team were patrolling the area of an industrial complex at 42200 6th Street West. Around 4 p.m., Deputies smelled the strong odor of Marijuana coming from one of the buildings from within the complex. Further investigation lead deputies to believe that Marijuana was being grown within the building. Approximately 600 Marijuana plants were discovered, which are estimated to have a street value of over one million dollars.

Deputies detained 43-year-old Nazar Daniyelyan at the scene.
