Final week to file for Palmdale municipal election

PALMDALE – The nomination period for the Palmdale municipal election closes at 5 p.m. on Friday. The General Municipal Election will be held in the City of Palmdale on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, for the following Officers:

  • Mayor: Full term of two years
  • 2 Members of City Council: Full term of four years

The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

    Jim Ledford is going to win, hands down! Not much competition, really. Some tired, old windbag and some angry woman with a severe case of Penis Envy are vying for the mayoral position. If Jim were a yellow dog with fleas, he’d still get my vote!
