It went down just a few doors down from my place. Neighbor said maybe five or six shots fired. Ghettobird got there pretty quick and the cops soon after. They taped off the intersection and had the white tent out, which means there was a body. At least a half dozen regular cops stood around for a couple of hours, and a pair of detectives came by later.
Don’t know the victim.
I’m supposed to say “but it is such a quiet neighborhood and stuff like that doesn’t happen here” but that would be stretching the truth, but, these last couple of years the sound of gunfire has been pretty rare.
