Deputies recover $200K in stolen property, 6 arrested

LANCASTER – Thousands in cash, illegal drugs, stolen handguns and approximately $200,000 in stolen property were recovered when deputies executed search warrants, around 5 a.m. Friday, at two homes in east Lancaster.

Six suspects were arrested in connection with the incident: 33-year-old Larry Dawson, 32-year-old John Brown, 33-year-old Schavon Conway, and three male juveniles.

The following is the press report from the Lancaster Station:

The Lancaster Station Burglary Suppression Team, along with the Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB), executed search warrants at two residential locations on the 45000 Block of Rodin Street in the city of Lancaster.

Items recovered from both locations were approximately $200,000 in stolen property, $5,000 in cash, several containers of illegal narcotics and six handguns, four of which were stolen.

The recovered stolen property consisted of several large flat screen televisions, electronic gaming systems, various electronic devices, landscaping equipment and automobile equipment.

A 13-year-old male and a 7-year-old female were both taken into custody by the Department of Child and Family Services.

The search warrants concluded an almost two-month long investigation in response to several reported burglaries in the eastside of the city. The combination of outstanding investigative efforts from patrol deputies and the Burglary Suppression Team led to the arrest of three adult suspects and three juvenile subjects.

The alleged charges varied, from burglary [to] receiving stolen property [to] child endangerment.

The following Lancaster residents were arrested and booked at the Lancaster Station: Larry Dawson, 33; John Brown, 32; Schavon Conway, 33; and three male juveniles.

I don’t. They probably were aiding and abetting the older ones. This is how they’re raised.

So much for the success rate of the program for at risk youth, “A Place Called Home”. Schavon Conway attended as a teenager in LA. Go figure.

SAD REALITY: All the outstanding police work it took to crack this will be undone in the penal system because these degenerate jackasses wil only serve 10% of their sentence. SHAMEFUL!!! Big THANK YOU to our Lancaster Sheriffs and all the other agencies for taking these degenerates off the streets (at least for a little while).
