Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris was gifted with an oversized teddy bear “for good health” at Tuesday’s (Aug. 14) council meeting.
The 53-inch plush teddy bear was presented by Ann Hill on behalf of the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce.
“I used to look like that!” Parris quipped.
“Teddy Rex” sat in for Lancaster Vice Mayor Ron Smith, who was absent from the meeting.
How kind to put Teddy in Ron Smith’s vacant seat. It gives Ronny some desperately needed respectability. Ever going to answer whether you have a mental health disability from the LASD Ron?
