Manhunt on for “armed and dangerous” robbery suspects

(L to R) 19-year-old Darnell Williams and 16-year-old Malik Jackson are wanted for multiple home burglaries and a street robbery.

I posted this under a different story but I believe it applies here too:

WHAT ABOUT THE WHITE GHETTO RATS HUH??? The laundry list of WHITE base heads and drug dealers like James Lyons, Elizabeth Jarrard, Gary Kilpatrick to name a few. Or the foolish WHITE drunk drivers like Patrick Perkins, George Latorre and Jason Sanders. Let’s not forget the WHITE burglars like Cecilia Smith, Paul Ginsburg (age 70!), and Claudia Drochak. I know, we forget the two WHITE people Cynthia Magnesi and Tyler Sander who were arrested for LYNCHING. Plenty more WHITE names in the arrests reports for just this past weekend. Thugs and ghetto rats come in ALL COLORS!!! Trying to make it seem like a black problem is foolish and ignorant, especially when we have arrest reports on this very same site telling a different story!!

You know, it would be very simple to put this to rest… someone needs to take the time to look over all the reports here, from the past, and every day, and start keeping a tally.

        June 27, 2012 at 10:23 am

why keep a tally when people are messing up, not just color !!!

        • ...
          June 27, 2012 at 10:30 am

Because you are the one talking about the “whites” doing things… you are the one talking about “Hey, don’t blame us blacks… we’ve had it rough for 400 years”… you are the one who proclaims blacks are not committing more crimes around here than other races…. you are the one who doesn’t believe the statistics someone else posted. The list goes on and on.

The point is, start tallying the number of crimes committed by each race here. Someone (either you or the whites), will be proven wrong.

          • ...
            June 27, 2012 at 10:38 am

and to be fair… you are also correct by saying that some whites here are also making this a racial thing. I should have said “you are the one talking about the whites… in this thread”.

That’s why I suggest the tally. If the crimes are being committed fairly across the board, then everyone who makes this a racial issue is out of line. And if the statistics show a large percentage of the crimes being committed by one race, then maybe there really is merit in discussing the racial side of things.

You missed my point. I only named specific white criminals to show that white people do commit crime. My point is not to keep a tally. My point is that criminals come in ALL COLORS. The color of your skin does not dictate your penchant for criminal activity. That is my point.

You guys think anyone who points to any facts is a “racist”. You think those facts themselves are “racist” too. Any slight criticism of the black community is reflexively called “racist”. The word “racist” is so played out at this point that it hardly causes anyone to blink an eye.

Layla, regarding your 5:53 post. I am sorry to hear about what your neighbor did to you. I have had frightening experiences myself on more than 1 occassion. Also, blond hair and blue eyes. I recovered and resigned myself to never be a victim again. I am not that “little girl” anymore.

      June 22, 2012 at 12:43 am

sacryinshame, Thank You For your post.
I’m sorry for you too. I was referring to “the guy next door” as a phrase or quote. He was actually a stalker, who stalked me till he
decided one night to attacked me. When I found out his name, what made it so ironic was I went to High School with his much younger brother. While attacking me he told me he had been stalking me and would call me and hang up. How creepy, he must of learned about me knowing his brother. I’ve recovered and resigned myself too, took self defense, jujitsu and armed myself. My anxiety is under control. Did you take self defense of any kind? It sounds like you didn’t let it break you. I’m happy for you. I see it as it made us stronger.

      • sacryinshame
        June 22, 2012 at 10:26 pm

The guy who kidnapped, beat, raped and robbed me, was not caught for 18 months. I started carrying a gun and did for years. I didn’t take self defense classes, but growing up with 5 brothers, I knew how to take and give a punch. This man took me by surprise, overpowered me and had a large knife.
I have a very strong spirit and managed not to fall apart. I saw a therapist for years to help me through the anxiety, panic and nightmares. I had PTSD before anyone ever thought of the term PTSD.
I still remember every word he said, how he looked, smelled and how he breathed. It’s spooky how your brain can hold onto that stuff for so long and in such detail.
I was lucky to get the support of the local police and FBI. The city I lived in at that time, formed a department to help victims of violent crimes and dedicated it to me.
I have a sense of empathy and understanding when I see or know someone is victimized.
Stalking is a scary thing. Has he ever been released from jail? The guy who hurt me will never see the outside of prison. He was wanted for killing a cop and assaulting numerous people when he took me. That gives me some comfort.

        • Layla
          June 23, 2012 at 2:32 pm

I’m glad he got caught, Even if it took 18 months and he got off the streets so as not to hurt anyone else. My stalker/Attacker(Steve) got no time(1983). I was young and dumb at the time and kept quiet. I told the police I didn’t remember anything. Yes, how stupid of me. But, I was threatened by my attackers brother, Bill (my classmate in high school), while I was recovering. I did go back and forth with telling the police or not. But one day I decided to tell a close friend and low and behold she told me that Bill…my attackers brother…raped her and she was threatened as well and didn’t go to the police. So it wasn’t hard to stand by my decision not to identify my attacker to the police. I felt one or the other could get to me. I made myself be satisfied that I was lucky that I wasn’t raped, and that I fought so hard when he had his hand on my mouth and choking me(had me pinned down with his knees) and he was big, with big hands, but I managed to bite a chunk of his palm off and then I passed out. Sounds like a made for lifetime tv movie, but this stuff happens. I am drawn to victims myself, and my career path I chose, is helping and caring for others.
Wow, you are an incredible person. Again I’m sorry that happened to you. I so wish there was a way to end all the crime that is going on out here. I come from a big city and for this town as small as it is sure has a lot of crime. I’m astonished!! I am stuck at home right now
and I’m afraid of being invaded & robbed(haven’t been afraid for a long time), I’m scared although I have a gun by my side, but it is not like I want to shoot anyone, but I will and I don’t care how old they are. And if I do get victimized again, I will sing like a canary. The decision I made in 1983 was wrong. I’m sure those two monsters victimized people after me. And I can to this day kick myself in the ass. So to those who read my post and are victims please under any circumstance tell your authorities.

            June 23, 2012 at 9:34 pm

Layla, have you ever researched him to see if he is still alive, in jail, or has turned his life around? You can look up his brother and start there. Research your town and see if there are any unsolved crimes with his method of rape and control. Call cold case people and ask questions. It’s very empowering to find out what has become of the creeps.
I know where my guy is and he has been there since the mid 70’s. I moved and changed my name a couple of times because he had his “club members” pay me visits from time to time back in the late 70s. Just to terrorize me.
With the FBI involved and him being wanted for killing a cop, I really did get lots of support.
I understand you not coming forward but I know you would do things different now.
I had daughters and from a very young age taught them about the “oh oh” feeling you get when something bad is going to happen. Also, taught them to follow their first instincts about boys and men. Lessons they have also taught my grand daughters.
Trying to act normal was probably easier when you were younger. There was so much more distraction in my younger years. Seems like as I got older I became hyper-sensitive about some things and reconnected with my therapist.
It’s been great talking to you Layla.

P.S. Layla, I have never lived in a town before with the problems this one has. The kids and young people here are frightening. There is sooo much drug abuse and no one seems to care.
Seems like everyone is trying to con everyone out of theft or money. I trust very few people here in this town.

sacryinshame, yes I have looked up Steve and I can’t find him. Back in the day he was, may still be a podiatrist. Maybe I should look him else where other than Santa Monica. I didn’t think to look up Bill. I remember the last name Borstien, but I may be spelling it wrong, he’s not working in Santa Monica. I don’t have my Santa Monica High yearbook to check the spelling out. Since him being a Santa Monica guy, I learned he was 36 yrs at the time he attacked me. A long time ago I did call the SMPD to speak to Dt Brown who handled the other time I was attacked and robbed(at 17 yrs old) with my friend, to check on Steve, but he was no longer with SMPD and know one else cared to listen to me. At 17 robbery, I went to court and put him away. There was so many witnesses, they alone could have put him away. He was a wanted man for a long wrap of rape and robbery. Calling cold case is a good idea, maybe they’ll listen, and I’ll look up Bill and maybe Steve lives and practices somewhere else.
I also had children at a young age and I educated them on boys and the sick people that are out there and not to trust anyone.
Right there with you, I was so distracted when I was young, I also was too busy to think so much about what happened(even though it had influence on my decisions).
Like you, it affects me more today than
back then, I also reconnect with therapy too.
It’s been a great pleasure talking to you too sacryinshame.

No, no problems here in the AV… No no problems in this town with young black men victimizing innocent people… the only problem here is a bunch or racist white folks picking on minorities for being on section 8…gimme a break people in this town sound racist because they are genuinely in fear because of an undesireable influx over the past decade of young black men who victimize our community… I challenge somebody to compile the arrest stats by race where the suspect was unknown to the victim ( ie robbery, assault, burglary, carjacking) the type of crimes that normal harworking people find themselves the victim of… people are in fear and not because they are racist, its because they are smart enough to identify a pattern!!!

They are lil terrorist monsters, and need to be stopped before their crimes escalate into a brutal vicious attack, rape or murder. Race shouldn’t be argued with the fact that they are lil low life criminals. I don’t care what race they are, they need to be PUNISHED. Convicted killers, convicted REPEAT rapers, child rapers, and REPEAT convicted robbers and those convicted of REPEAT violent beatings deserve life. Depending on how heinous their offense is…2nd or 3rd time should get them LIFE. Committing crimes at their age, shows their evilness and dark side. Not a good sign at all. Have you ever been a victim? Cause being victimized your a victim for life and in most cases so are those around. And this is a LIFE SENTENCE.

I am sorry you were victimized. I hope you are okay and I wish you well. AS for your idea, it’s a good one, I’m not sure it’s legal, I believe it’s a controversial issue, “Entrapment” I believe it’s called. Or maybe it’s not anymore…..To suggest to you, therapy is good if you feel you may need it. I was victimized more than once, the last time was in 96. Therapy, has helped me in some areas but not completely. I have generlized anxiety disorder(GAD), and for a long time I suffered a OCD, and was agoraphobic for quite sometime. I still suffer from nightmares but not as many as before. I may have not suffered all this if I’d seeked treatment earlier after being victimized, so if you believe in therapy, I highly recommend it.
I hope they catch them, before they kill someone.

19 and 16 and already terrorist. Cry’n shame it is. I’d give them 7 yrs for each crime. Such behavior at this age it won’t be long before the kill. “Obviously”, One has a case of Antisocial Personality Disorder, and the other up and coming. (better Describe in DSM V, because of age). They need intervention now! I have faith most youngsters can be rehabilitated, but not all. I worked in the field (research). Lock em up, and teach them life skills, coping skills, labor skill and general education. Since robbery being a felony, a 7 year sentence can teach a lot 7 days a week. No matter what race, white, black, brown, green, purple, blue, red or pink.

T-Bone, sorry it put you to sleep. It didn’t come up the way I wrote it(Oh well). Read the DSM-V. It will make more sense. Myself, I find it interesting. & look under personality disorders, and click on antisocial. Interesting to see how it has changed over the years. If laws would have changed this easily, I believe this world would be somewhat better off. Early intervention does work. Put money where it belongs, early signs of mental and criminal behavior is part the a solution. I think I know what is screwing up my writing… correcting spelling and missing words.

Just remember that the people you want to help..

          1. Have to want you to help them

          2. Want to help themselves.

Sometimes voters (tax payers) look at it as being easier to pay for Punishment of Offenders then dump money into trying to get someone to realize they have a problem when they don’t want to (or have to) hear you!

I hope I don’t bore you again. In a good majority of circumstances, parents of a minor are allowed to place their child showing signs of abnormal, violent, angry behavior etc. in a psychiatric hospital. If they want to get out they have to comply with treatment. This is one step a parent can take. Most likely they won’t volunteer. I worked in this field, with juvenile offenders, drug users, homeless, domestic violence(&victims), mental health, and violent offenders released from prison. Based on my research for my job(at the time) it worked more than it didn’t. No, not a complete success.
To obtain my data, I interviewed this population.
Violent offenders who were released to our program, told me they got no treatment of any of
any kind while incarcerated and a good majority
were afraid they were released. That majority said they didn’t know what to do or where to go. This being, it made them fearful they would offend again. Juveniles released to our program also had to listen and comply or they went juvenile detention or went back to juvenile detention.
I am no bleeding heart, I believe in the death penalty, I believe in harsher sentencing for crimes. Upon my interviews, I found myself wondering why a good deal of these offenders were even released. This is our system, oh well. I am just saying lets get them treatment in prison and prep them for release. Again, a step to take. We
spend just as much money putting them back in prison over and over again. If treatment doesn’t work preferably the 1st time, then they should not be released.

when they turn 18, they are free to stop whatever treatment programs they were forced to go to.

In hospitals yes, when their parent sends them(under18). (A first step). When courts place them they have to comply and finish, or be sent to prison or juvi. In the program I worked for they would be arrested and sent to prison or juvi hall depending on age, if they did not comply. In prison, offenders any of any age 18 & up, I’m saying needs to continue treatment, therapy, life skills, labor skills etc. to prepare them for rehabilitation and prison release. (As prisons do) In hope they rehabilitate themselves to not become repeat offenders. If obvious, they can not be rehabilitated….Send them away for a long, long time.

Regarding my post, I do not right well. When I was 19 a man tried to rape me and I fought so hard he then began to strangle me and beat me to death. I suffered oxygen deprivation and head injuries. I am slow, yet lead a normal life. And guess what… An all american guy next door WHITE man with blue eyes attacked me, AND he was a doctor. Let’s quit arguing about the race of suspect, offender, criminal, be a part of the solution instead. Yes, there is statistics, but all races comment crimes.

It’s sad to see two more young men decide to make these bad decisions. Hopefully they will change their ways.

Well, to be honest, most of the white people will turn in their neighbors, etc when they commit a crime. White people also usually don’t blame the government or the judicial system if a young white male gets incarcerated for crimes like these, we all think “Good riddance, we needed him off the street.”

The problem with some parts of the black community is the idea that it is whitey’s fault, or the government’s fault, or all cops are corrupt, or the judicial system is targeting them so they don’t turn in these hood rats. That is something the black community needs to fix themselves, and this will only get worse if black community does not turn in their own to the police.

        Well said Alex.
You and I both know that isn’t going to happen. The best way to unite a black or hispanic family is to say something about 1 of their children or the momma.
I’ve never experienced a population where a mom beats up a teacher for problems a kid is having at school. Never, untill I moved here.
If the police go knocking on a door looking for the residents kids, to ask about something the kid did, the moms hide them or let them run out the patio door.
How many times have the police gone to arrest a juvenile, found them in their bedroom with a number of their friends hiding in the closet and under the bed. Happens all the time and of course mom says she didn’t know.
Knowing that unless the cops have a search warrant the resident doesn’t have to open the door, how many of these kids sit with there moms laughing while the deputies knock on the door. Or better yet, everyone hides and doesn’t make a sound in the house while the cops are outside.
There are parents who will do whatever they can to prevent their children from facing the consequences of their own actions. They will lie for them and make excuses.
I have seen it so many times and have become acutely aware of the moment when the lights go out in the childs eyes and they realize they don’t have to live by society’s rules.
They can be whatever they want when they grow up. Maybe a pimp, rapper, hooker, learn the child daycare fraud scam, or the home care fraud scam. They could be a drug dealer, car thief, burglar, crip, or blood, a baby momma or baby daddy. Endless possibilities. Stay up late, play loud music outside with all their friends over, loud talking in the front yard. They don’t have to get up for work or school so who cares if they keep the neighborhood up. They have done it enough times and gotten away with it, they know none of the neighbors will call the police and the police wouldn’t respond anyway, unless they start waiving their handguns around.
I know that not all of the kids who take the “low road” come from homes with absent parents. Some kids simply chose that life because it seems like it’s going to be more fun. It breaks the parents heart and they are confused why their child is behaving that way.
I also know that some kids break the cycle and leave the scandelous homes they grew up in for college and don’t look back. I wish more kids could do that.
It’s no surprise that the kids that do leave, still have the light in their eyes. They truly are the special ones who could be anything they want to be. Go Bulldogs!
