Palmdale’s Spring Day Camp for youth begins

PALMDALE – The City of Palmdale’s Spring Break Day Camp for youth in kindergarten through eighth grade begins today (3/19/12) at the Marie Kerr Park Recreation Center, 2723-A Rancho Vista Blvd. in Palmdale.

Camp will now through Friday through March 30 from 6:30 am to 6 pm.

Advance registration is required and early registration is strongly encouraged as spots fill up quickly. Weekly registration cost is $95 for Palmdale residents and $114 for non-residents. Sibling discounts are available.

“Children will enjoy themed projects, games, contests, social interaction and art projects, all under a safe and supervised environment,” said Palmdale’s Recreation Coordinator Jennifer Tallakson.

Parents may register online at www.cityofpalmdale.org or by visiting the parks and recreation office at 38260 10th St. E., Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 6 pm.
